Coordinating Your Family’s Coverage

If your dependents gain other coverage, it is considered a qualifying life event, which allows you to make some changes to your benefits within 30 days of gaining other coverage.

You may want to consider:

• Removing your dependent from medical, dental, and vision
• Removing your dependent from Accident Insurance, Hospital Indemnity Insurance, and Critical Illness Insurance
• Enroll or waive the Health Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA), or the Health Savings Account (HSA) for health care expenses
• Enroll or waive in Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for daycare expenses
• Elect or waive your Life and AD&D Insurance
• Update your beneficiaries for your 401k, Health Savings Account (HSA), and life insurance at www.NetBenefits.com

You can log in to www.NetBenefits.com to make changes to your benefits or call the Fidelity Benefits Call Center at 800-835-5095.

Please note, when removing a dependent from coverage, you will be required to provide documentation that proves eligibility to make the change. When you remove your dependent, you will be able to upload your documents. If you don’t provide documentation, your dependent won’t be removed.
