2027 Annual Enrollment

2027 Annual Enrollment is live from November 2-13, 2026

Annual Enrollment is your once-a-year chance to review your coverage and choose what best fits your needs. It’s a great time to learn more about your benefits options, helping you not only understand your choices but also how they impact your health, finances, well-being, and more.

During Annual Enrollment, it’s important to:

  • Consider the coverage you’ll need
  • Review your current elections to determine if anything needs to change
  • Confirm covered dependents remain eligible
  • Be sure you are covering eligible dependents, and have dependent information like birth dates and Social Security information on hand
  • Review and update beneficiary information for life insurance, 401(k) and Health Savings Account (HSA)

Each year, we take a close look at our benefit offerings to make sure they continue to support the needs of our employees and their families. For 2027, you will see updates to medical plan designs and costs.

Health Care Premiums

Like most employers across the country, we continue to see healthcare costs rise—driven by higher provider costs, greater use of medical services, growing demand for behavioral health support, and increasing prescription drug prices. For 2027, the total cost of our medical plans is again expected to increase.

It helps to understand how our medical plans are funded. Entegris self-insures its medical plans, which means the company pays employee and dependent medical and prescription drug claims directly, rather than paying premiums to an insurance company. Your paycheck contributions and out of pocket expenses cover only a portion of that cost—Entegris pays for the majority of all medical costs. This means that when claims and healthcare prices rise, the company absorbs most of the increase.

The good news: Entegris is absorbing the majority of the projected 2027 cost increase to keep the impact on you minimal. As a result, the change to your share of the premium will be modest—and well below the increase in the plans’ total cost.

And there’s more good news; premiums for dental, vision, supplemental life insurance, and other voluntary insurance plans are not changing at all for 2027. That means you get the same great coverage options with no cost increase.

We remain committed to providing high-quality, affordable benefits, and to protecting you from the full impact of rising healthcare costs whenever we can.

HDHP 2 Medical Plan Out-of-Pocket Maximum

The PPO Plan and HDHP 1 are not changing. HDHP 2 deductibles, coinsurance, and out-of-pocket maximum amounts stay the same, too—but the way the family out-of-pocket maximum works is getting better.

Beginning in 2027, HDHP 2 will use an embedded out-of-pocket maximum instead of a non-embedded one. Today, a family has one shared maximum. With an embedded maximum, each covered person also has their own limit. That means if one family member reaches their individual out-of-pocket maximum, the plan begins paying 100% of that person’s covered expenses—even if the family maximum hasn’t been met. This can ease the financial strain when one family member has significant medical expenses.

Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Limits

HSA contribution limits are going up from $4,400 to $4,500 for employee-only coverage, and from $8,750 to $9,000 if you cover one or more dependents.

2027 FSA contribution limits will be announced by the IRS in November. For 2026, you can contribute up to $3,400 to a General Purpose or Limited Purpose Health Care FSA. The Dependent Care FSA contribution limit is $7,500, or $3,750 if you’re married and file separately.

We will conduct a full dependent verification audit in early 2027 – more details will be shared closer to its start. We recommend using Annual Enrollment to review the dependents you cover, and confirm each one is still eligible.

If you enrolled dependents without documentation prior to Open Enrollment in 2026, you will need to provide eligibility documentation as outlined on the Dependent Verification Documentation page. If you add new dependents during open enrollment and upload documentation then, no action will be needed for the audit.
